Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a 12-week Summer Internship in Construction Project Management across North America. As an Intern you will assist planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with engineering and field teams to deliver energy-efficient building projects.

This paid program develops technical and leadership skills and offers mentorship, exposure to RFQs and subcontractor coordination, and a clear path to our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree during the internship.
• Preferred fields: Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, or related.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate projects, establish schedules and parameters, and set procedures to meet objectives.
• Support engineering programming and material selection activities for projects.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining project budgets; revise estimates as scope evolves.
• Coordinate subcontractor RFQs, scope statements, milestone dates, and billing schedules.
• Review subcontractor proposals and assist in supervising project staff and contractors.
• Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, owners, and team members to resolve issues.
