Job summary

Trane Technologies invites motivated students to join a 12-week Summer internship in Construction Project Management. You will collaborate with North American teams to plan, schedule, and execute projects, while gaining hands-on exposure to budgeting, engineering programming, and vendor coordination.

The program aims to develop leadership, technical, and communication skills and may lead to the Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the full duration of the internship.
• Preferred degree in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate assigned projects; establish schedules and parameters; assist with CPM analysis and histogram analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering team to support programming and material selection for projects.
• Assist in budgeting for projects, revise estimates, and monitor forecasted costs to completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on RFQs, scopes, milestones, specs, and billing schedules.
• Communicate with contractors, owners, and team members regarding scope, budgets, performance, and close-out.
