Job summary

Trane Technologies offers a 12-week Summer internship in Construction Project Management across North America. Interns will work with engineering teams, support project planning, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination to gain hands-on experience in building efficiency and sustainability.

Enrolled students in Construction Engineering, Building Management, or related fields are encouraged to apply, with opportunities to pursue the Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
• Experience or coursework in construction/building systems preferred.
• Ability to work in a U.S. workplace without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate projects, establish schedules and parameters, create tasks and milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on programming and material selections.
• Assist in maintaining project budgets and forecast costs.
• Prepare sub-contractor RFQs with scope, plans, milestones and billing.
• Review subcontractor proposals and supervise assigned staff and subcontractors.
• Communicate with contractors, owners and team about scope, budgets and issues.
