Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Construction Project Management Intern to join a 12‑week summer program across North America. You will work with engineers and project teams to plan, schedule, and execute construction initiatives focused on energy-efficient environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience in project management, budgets, and contractor coordination, with potential remote, hybrid, or onsite assignments.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Completed at least sophomore year before internship start.
• Knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Roles may be remote, hybrid, or onsite across North America.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate assigned projects, set schedules and procedures to achieve system objectives.
• Support engineering programming and material selection with the team.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining an operations budget for projects.
• Prepare sub-contractor RFQs, scope statements, milestones, and billing schedules.
• Communicate with contractors, subcontractors and owners about scope, budgets, performance, and close-out.
