Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a 12-week Summer internship program in Construction Project Management. You will gain hands-on experience working with engineers and project teams to support planning, budgeting, and execution of building projects across North America.

As an intern, you'll collaborate with peers, develop leadership and communication skills, and have opportunities to join our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the internship.
• Preferred degree areas include Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering.
• Candidates must have completed at least their sophomore year.
• U.S. citizen or right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate assigned projects, establish schedules and parameters, and set procedures to accomplish objectives.
• Support engineering programming and material selection activities.
• Maintain an operations budget and monitor forecasted costs.
• Prepare for subcontractor RFQs with scope, plans, milestones, specs and billing schedules.
• Assist in supervising project staff, subcontractors, and installers.
• Communicate with contractors and owners regarding scope, budgets, and issues.
