Job summary

PAE is seeking a motivated Plumbing Design Engineering Intern to join our Portland, OR team on-site. The internship provides hands-on experience across mechanical, plumbing, electrical and building systems design.

You will work with engineers to support CAD/Revit design, NEC reviews, site visits, and project coordination. A 10–12 week program offers real-world exposure to sustainable building design and cost-estimation tasks.

Qualifications

• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred.
• Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering major.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical, plumbing, electrical and building systems design.
• Support CAD/Revit design work on projects.
• Assist in site visits and observations.
• Support cost estimates and coordination scheduling.
• Contribute to sustainability design initiatives.
