Job summary

PAE invites motivated Plumbing Design Engineering Interns to join our team in Boston, MA, or other major offices. You will assist with plumbing systems layout, non-potable water reuse concepts, water data analysis, and electrification of hot water systems, using CAD and Revit as part of a hands-on internship experience.

This 10–12 week, on-site internship offers exposure to living buildings and sustainable design practices, with opportunities to work across mechanical, electrical, and building

Qualifications

• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred.
• Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering major.
• Desire to work in the Building Design industry.
• Passionate about sustainable design solutions.
• Effective Communicator.

Responsibilities

• Design layout of plumbing systems
• Onsite non-potable reuse and nutrient recovery systems
• Water data (WUI) analysis
• Electrification of domestic hot water systems
• CAD and Revit
