Job summary

JLL is seeking a Project Manager for Sustainable Buildings to lead transformative sustainability projects within commercial real estate. You will drive green building certifications, manage construction sustainability initiatives, and deliver strategic solutions for global clients, blending technical expertise with strong client relationships.

As part of JLL's Sustainability Consulting team, you will guide cross-functional teams through design, documentation, and site visits, ensuring on-time

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in real estate sustainability, corporate environmental management, or energy efficiency.
• Demonstrated proficiency with project management technology tools and ability to adopt new technologies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop technical presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings, design charrettes, and presentations to communicate sustainability strategies and project progress.
• Develop and complete documentation, plans, and calculations to achieve green building certifications (LEED, WELL, Zero Carbon, Fitwel).
• Track sustainability metrics and goals, providing written and oral reports to design teams, owners, and contractors.
• Manage project financials including setup, invoicing, and accounts receivable to ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and technical documentation while proactively addressing project-related issues.
• Conduct job site visits during construction to monitor progress and verify conformance to sustainable design specifications.
• Support project executives on large, complex assignments requiring advanced sustainability knowledge.
