Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of building systems and services in a corporate setting. You will balance day-to-day operations with long-term planning, ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability across all spaces managed.

The role involves leading engineers, technicians, and service providers, managing budgets, and maintaining strong client relationships while driving energy efficiency and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in facilities management or property management.
• Solid knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs while maintaining service excellence.
• Demonstrated leadership with experience coordinating multiple service providers.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills to manage client expectations.
• Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation for optimal performance.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate facilities teams, engineers, technicians, and service providers.
• Conduct regular building inspections, preventive maintenance, and audits.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure safety and performance of third parties.
• Respond to facility emergencies with swift, effective solutions minimizing disruption.
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored facilities solutions.
• Drive sustainability by implementing energy-efficient practices and monitoring performance metrics.
• Maintain documentation including maintenance records and compliance certificates.
