Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Project Manager for Sustainable Buildings to lead transformative sustainability projects within commercial real estate. You will drive green building certifications, manage construction sustainability initiatives, and deliver strategic solutions for global clients, combining technical expertise with client relationship skills.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in real estate sustainability, corporate environmental management, or energy efficiency.
• BA/BS degree in environmental science, engineering, real estate, architecture, or related field with strong academic record.
• LEED AP, WELL AP, and/or Fitwel Ambassador certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency with project management technology tools and ability to adopt new technologies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop technical presentations.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings, design charrettes, and presentations to communicate sustainability strategies and project progress.
• Develop and complete documentation, plans, and calculations to achieve green building certifications (LEED, WELL, Zero Carbon, Fitwel).
• Track sustainability metrics and goals, providing written and oral reports to design teams, owners, and contractors.
• Manage project financials including setup, invoicing, and accounts receivable to ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and technical documentation while proactively addressing project-related issues.
• Conduct job site visits during construction to monitor progress and verify conformance to sustainable design specifications.
• Support project executives on large, complex assignments requiring advanced sustainability knowledge.
