Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a Sustainability Project Manager II to drive and support sustainability initiatives, oversee reporting platforms and ESG programs, and maintain strong relationships with sustainability partners. The role collaborates with the Office of Sustainability and other departments to ensure data integrity and responsive stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in Environmental Science preferred or equivalent background.
• 3 years of project management or equivalent experience; in sustainability and transportation strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
• Experience with Teamwork or other project management tools preferred.
• Strong analytical ability and data-driven strategy development.
• Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to convey complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainability reporting and platform management; oversee ESG programs and partner relationships.
• Identify data issues and ensure accurate inputs for reporting platforms.
• Research regulatory requirements and inform stakeholders about reporting needs.
• Manage corrective action plans with external rating organizations and partners.
• Coordinate with Office of Sustainability and other departments on customer requests.
• Create and manage project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop KPI communications for stakeholders and partners.
• Prepare schedules, budgets, and reports and maintain project documentation.
• Use project management tools to monitor scope, risks, and timelines.
• Prepare charts, graphs, and tables for reports and presentations.
• Lead key meetings, set agendas, take notes, and document lessons learned.
• Evaluate project performance for continuous improvement and share best practices.
