Job summary

Ameren is seeking a Senior Sustainability Program Specialist to develop and implement ESG reporting strategies across business segments. You will support environmental compliance, analyze data, and communicate sustainability programs to stakeholders.

In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects, maintain the ESG scorecard, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance Ameren's sustainability commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Economics, or related field.
• Five+ years of professional experience in sustainability or environmental fields.
• This role requires Ameren competencies: Think Customer, Inspire and Engage, Foster Innovation, Drive Results, Champion Learning, Build Trust, Be Strategic.

Responsibilities

• Lead reports supporting sustainability reporting initiatives and frameworks.
• Maintain ESG rating scorecard and monitor rating agency developments.
• Lead cross-functional projects to advance sustainability strategy.
• Develop SOPs for consistent ESG reporting.
• Educate stakeholders on Ameren's sustainability strategy.
• Represent Ameren at external meetings and conferences.
• Analyze sustainability data and benchmark against peer utilities.
