Job summary

Ameren Services is seeking a Senior Sustainability Program Specialist to advance sustainability practices, develop ESG reporting strategies, and support environmental compliance. You will analyze data, coordinate with business units, and present findings to leadership.

A strong emphasis on communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential. The role sits within the Corporate Sustainability team, offering opportunities to shape Ameren's sustainability disclosures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Five+ years of professional sustainability/environmental experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead reports for sustainability disclosures and frameworks (e.g., ESG reporting).
• Manage ESG rating scorecard and interface with rating agencies.
• Drive cross-functional projects to advance Ameren's sustainability goals.
• Lead materiality assessments and prepare SOPs for ESG reporting.
• Educate stakeholders and contribute to sustainability communications and training.
• Represent Ameren at meetings, conferences, and external engagements.
• Maintain internal sustainability website and coordinate data collection.
