Job summary

Wegmans in Morrisville, NC is seeking a sushi prep team member to join our fast-paced kitchen. Bring your love for sushi and we’ll teach you the rest; you will help prepare fresh, high-quality sushi rolls and assist with made-to-order requests.

You’ll work alongside experienced sushi chefs, learn traditional techniques, and contribute to a clean, organized kitchen while delivering great customer experiences. This part-time role includes weekend availability and a pay range of $16.50–$17 per hour.

• Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice
• Assist in making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation
• Uphold excellent food presentation and customer satisfaction
