Taleo in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced line cook for a sushi-focused kitchen within a hotel setting. The role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across shifts to maintain smooth service.

You will prepare sushi creations and other hot/cold dishes following standard recipes and productivity standards. The ideal candidate has at least two years of sushi kitchen experience, exceptional guest service, and the ability to coordinate with other kitchen

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ culinary experience in a sushi restaurant kitchen
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
Strong knowledge of food service industry, cuisines and beverages

Responsabilités

Prepare all food prep and items according to standard hotel recipes and specifications
Maintain product turnover with proper rotation
Listen and respond to guest inquiries with a positive, clear speaking voice
Monitor staff performance and production flow when supervisor is absent
Participate with cooks and team in preparing, cooking and presenting food
Maintain communication with guests and hotel departments to ensure proper service
Other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
