Job summary

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in surveying.
• Ability to operate survey equipment such as GPS.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing survey crew work.
• Keep records and sketches of work performed.
• Supervise maintenance of instruments and equipment.

Skills

Operation of survey equipment (total stations, data collectors)

Using survey adjustment software (Trimble Business Center, Leica Infinity)

Analyzing and extracting data from point clouds

Using Microstation with InRoads or AutoCAD Civil3D

Familiar with NYCDOT, NYSDOT, or similar standards

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
