Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, easement documents, legal descriptions, final plat preparation, construction staking.
• Ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center for production activities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, support project coordination, and interact with other design services.
• Full use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment that is in a growth mode.
• Associate Degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related area of study.
• SIT Certification.
• Experience with Land Development projects; travel may be required; LiDAR data processing; LiDAR/imagery workflows; LiDAR modules.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, and computing survey points.
• Process raw field data through Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
• Perform QA/QC checks.
• Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff.
• Ensure division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are followed.
• Lead by example with sound judgment, values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.
