Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician to join our team and support Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, and legal description tasks.

You will process raw field data in Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D, perform QA/QC, and collaborate with field crews to deliver accurate survey products in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive technician experience.
• Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, and easement documents.
• Ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center for production.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production and field data processing.
• Conduct deed research, boundary analysis and prepare easement documents.
• Perform QA/QC checks on deliverables and maintain records.
• Coordinate with field crews and other office staff to support projects.
• Travel to project sites as needed and ensure adherence to company policies.
