Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician to join our team. This role will assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal descriptions, and computing survey points.

You will process field data in Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D, perform QA/QC, and collaborate with field crews and office staff to maintain accuracy and efficiency across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, easement documents, legal descriptions, final plat preparation, construction staking.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal descriptions, and computing survey points.
• Process raw field data through Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
• Perform QA/QC checks.
• Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff.
• Ensure division, regional, and company values, policies, and practices are followed.
