Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician to join our team.

This role supports Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal descriptions, and computing survey points. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of technician experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, with strong communication skills and a commitment to QA/QC.

Qualifications

Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.
5+ years of progressive technician experience.
Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, easement documents, legal descriptions, final plat preparation, construction staking.
Ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center for production activities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and interact with design services.

Responsibilities

Assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal descriptions, and computing survey points.
Process raw field data through Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
Perform QA/QC checks and coordinate with field crews and office staff.
Ensure adherence to division, regional, and company values and practices.
