Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician to assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, and computing survey points.

You will process field data using Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D, and perform QA/QC checks while coordinating with field crews and office staff. Strong communication skills and knowledge of ALTA surveys, legal descriptions, and construction staking are essential.

Qualifications

Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, preparation of easement documents, legal descriptions, final plat preparation, construction staking.
Ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center for production activities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, support project coordination, and interact with other design services.
Full use of Microsoft Office.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment that is in a growth mode.

Responsibilities

Assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, and computing survey points.
Process raw field data through Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
Perform QA/QC checks.
Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff.
