Job summary

Fishbeck in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Survey Intern for Summer 2027 to support evaluations and design of water and wastewater projects as part of our Surveying team.

You will assist with data analysis, site visits, client meetings, and collaborate with engineers across offices while developing core skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Survey Engineering, Survey Technology, or Civil Engineering program.
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation experience, preferably in land development.
• Ability to learn basic design concepts and technical calculations.
• GPS knowledge is a plus.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Available for occasional travel, long hours, and occasional weekends.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Working with our Surveying team, you willassist with evaluations and design of Water/Wastewater projects.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For
