The ideal candidate has 3+ years of survey crew or party chief experience, strong knowledge of automated survey instrumentation, and solid plan-stakeout understanding for boundary and title surveys.

Qualifications

• Experience performing boundary surveys and topographic surveys.
• Strong understanding of construction stakeout techniques.
• Proficient with robotic GPS equipment and data collection.

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is looking for a dedicated Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Abingdon, Maryland. In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing boundary, topographic, and construction surveys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated survey instrumentation and a solid understanding of construction plans and stakeout techniques.

Requirements

• Function effectively as a one-person crew utilizing cutting-edge robotic and GPS equipment
• Experience using Trimble S series robotics and/or Trimble Access
• Working knowledge of construction layout, cut sheets, and survey calculations, as well as boundary and title surveys
• Experience with topographic surveys and the collection of survey data
• Basic familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage
• 3+ years of experience in a survey crew or party chief role
• Experience coordinating with field crews
