Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a dedicated Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Laurel, Maryland. The role focuses on executing boundary, topographic, and construction surveys using robotic total stations and GPS/GNSS equipment.

The ideal candidate will lead as a one-person robotic crew, interpret construction plans, and perform survey calculations with strong communication skills and knowledge of AutoCAD. 3+ years of field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a survey crew or party chief role.
• Strong knowledge of construction layout, cut sheets and survey calculations.
• Experience with boundary and title surveys.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout surveys.
• Utilize robotic total stations and GPS/GNSS equipment to collect survey data.
• Operate as a one-person robotic survey crew while coordinating with project managers and field teams.
• Interpret construction plans, cut sheets, and perform survey calculations.
• Conduct field data collection for topographic and boundary surveys.
