Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join its national engineering and surveying team. You will produce ALTA/site drawings, perform data analysis, and support project managers to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

You should have AutoCAD Civil 3D experience, familiarity with Trimble Business Center, and a solid understanding of surveys, boundaries, and construction staking; a high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred.

• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Preferred
• High School Diploma Required, Associate Degree Preferred
• Thorough understanding of Altas, Topo's, Boundaries, and Construction Staking
• Previous experience with Point cloud

Responsibilities

• Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete assignments per Atwell standards.
• Generate drawings including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, layouts, and construction staking.
• Review project survey data to analyze site conditions, including ALTA surveys and easement documents.
• Edit and modify plans following revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients; coordinate workflow with Project Managers.
• Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status and chargeability goals.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement and is open to candidates residing anywhere in Ohio, with the ability to travel to the Atwell office as needed.

As a Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, you will work on diverse projects with various sizes, scopes, and details. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic culture and a national presence.

• Resourceful Support: Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.
• CAD Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.
• Drawing Production: Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.
• Survey Data Analysis: Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
• Plan Modification: Responsibly edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.
• Workflow Coordination: Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience Preferred
