Job summary

Atwell, LLC in Ohio is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to support design staff with drafting and surveying tasks. You will work with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce ALTA surveys, final plats, maps of dedication, construction layouts, and staking.

The role emphasizes reviewing survey data, understanding legal descriptions, managing revisions from agencies, and coordinating with Project Managers to keep chargeability goals on track.

Qualifications

• Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred.
• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Atlas, Topo's, Boundaries and Construction Staking.
• Previous experience with point clouds.

Responsibilities

• Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.
• Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.
• Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
• Plan edits and modify designs per agency, municipal, and client revisions, following directives closely.
• Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.

Survey CAD Technician

Atwell, you will work on diverse projects with various sizes, scopes, and details. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic culture and a national presence.

Resourceful Support:

Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.

CAD Proficiency:

Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.

Drawing Production:

Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.

Survey Data Analysis:

Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.

Plan Modification:

Responsibly edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.

Workflow Coordination:
