Job summary

Atwell, LLC is a bold leader in consulting, engineering, and construction services with a national footprint and award‑winning portfolio. As a Survey CAD Technician, you will work on diverse projects in a flexible environment and contribute to a strong culture.

You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce ALTA, final plats, and construction drawings, review survey data, and modify plans per agency and client directives while coordinating with Project Managers to stay on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar drafting tools.
• Understanding of Atlas, Topo, boundaries, and construction staking.
• Experience with survey data review and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify drawings including ALTA surveys, Final Plats, and Maps of Dedication.
• Review project survey data to assess site conditions and legal documents.
• Edit plans per agency and client revisions and directives.
• Coordinate workflow with Project Managers and Team Leaders to meet chargeability goals.

As aSurvey CAD Technician at Atwell, you will work on diverse projects with various sizes, scopes, and details. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic culture and a national presence.

Resourceful Support:Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.

CAD Proficiency:Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.

Drawing Production:Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.

Survey Data Analysis:Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.

Plan Modification:Responsibly edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.

Workflow Coordination:Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience Preferred
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Preferred
• High School Diploma Required, Associated Degree Preferred
• Thorough understanding of Altas, Topo's, Boundaries, and Construction Staking
