Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Technical school degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surveys using field data to create drawings.
• Draft topographic and boundary surveys.
• Prepare ALTA surveys and subdivision plats.
• Develop construction staking survey drawings.
• Prepare easements and right-of-way surveys.
• Read and interpret property descriptions and survey records.
• Collaborate with survey and engineering teams to meet deadlines.
• Work on residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and oil & gas projects.

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Survey CAD Technician to join its Survey Department. In this role, you will work with survey and engineering professionals to transform field-collected survey data into accurate drawings, plats, and technical deliverables.

Projects span residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and oil and gas sectors, offering exposure to a diverse range of surveying work.

What You'll Do

• Prepare surveys using data collected by field survey teams.
• Draft topographic and boundary surveys.
• Prepare ALTA surveys and subdivision plats.
• Develop construction staking survey drawings.
• Prepare easements, right-of-way, and as-built surveys.
• Read and interpret property legal descriptions and related survey records.
• Work on residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and oil and gas projects.
• Collaborate with survey and engineering teams to meet project deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of Carlson software is a plus.
• Technical school degree and/or coursework in land surveying or civil engineering-related drafting preferred.
