Anchor Talent is recruiting a CAD Technician and Surveyor-in-Training for a long time Temple based Surveying firm. This company has been mapping Central Texas for nearly 40 years focusing on neighborhoods, city parks, commercial sites, and infrastructure projects that shape our communities.

We’re looking to add a Survey CAD Technician who loves bringing real-world projects to life, someone who’s as comfortable problem-solving on screen as they are collaborating with teammates who’ve been doing this for years. If you take pride in clean drawings, smart solutions, and being the person others can count on, this is your team.

What You’ll Do

• Turn field data into precise drawings for boundaries, topographies, construction layouts, and subdivision plats.
• Work directly with field crews, engineers, and clients to keep projects moving smoothly.
• Research deeds and property records, draft metes and bounds, and deliver accurate results that make you proud to sign your name.
• Contribute ideas, spot issues before they become problems, and help estimate new projects.

• Within six months, you’re trusted to own projects from start to finish.
• Within a year, you’re known for clean, reliable work and calm under pressure.
• Long term, you’re growing toward your Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) or RPLS path, alongside a leadership that will support you to get there.

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of CAD or land surveying experience (Carlson/AutoCAD preferred).
• Understanding of field workflows and GPS/Total Station data.

The Details

• Location: Temple, TX
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
• Compensation: $25–$30/hr DOE + overtime
