Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Technician/Drafter in surveying or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D (experience with Carlson is a plus).
• Technical degree or coursework in land surveying, civil engineering, or related drafting discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of survey drawings using field data, including Topographic surveys, Boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, Subdivision plats, Construction staking surveys, Easements and right-of-way plans, As-built surveys.
• Interpret property legal descriptions and analyze related survey records.
• Collaborate with engineers and field teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Support survey projects across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and oil & gas.
• Maintain accuracy, organization, and consistency in all drafting work.

• Prepare a variety of survey drawings using field data, including:
