Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Surveillance Officer for the Columbus, NE location on a part-time swing shift. You will monitor casino operations via CCTV, identify suspicious activity, and help ensure a safe, fair, and lawful gaming environment.

Responsibilities include operating CCTV, preserving video coverage, logging activities, and communicating with other departments to enforce regulations and protect assets. A high school diploma or GED and prior security experience are preferred.

Job Summary

Casino Surveillance Officer monitors casino operations using cameras and surveillance systems to ensure a safe, fair, and lawful environment. They identify suspicious activity, preventing fraud or theft, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

• Operates a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system tomonitorcasino activities and prepare reports and logs.
• Operates software to save and preserve video coverage.
• Presents evaluations of any observed illegal activity to the proper departments and makes necessary recommendations.
• Make recommendations and enforce state and federal regulations. Will communicate with security and other departments using phones and radios.
• Will follow policies to ensure safety and asset protection. Has knowledge of all slot/game’sprocedures and Title 31.
• Maintains all logs and ensures accuracy of log entries.
• Maintains confidentiality of all Hotel/Casino information.
• Reports all incidentsobservedon shift totheLeadership.
• Comply withcompany regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Act as a role model to other employees and alwayspresentsoneself as a credit to the Company andencouragesothers to do the same.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• Must be able to see and, also, remember the specific details of incidents and persons.Ability to compose clear,accurate, and concise reports.
• Must be able tooperatethe following equipment: Monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
• Must be able to give court testimony when necessary andwritedetailed reports.
• Must be able to read, write,speakand understand English.
• Ability tomaintain extremelyconfidential information.
• Observe gaming tables and slot machines to ensure fair play and accurate payout
• Review video footage to resolve disputes or investigate incidents
• Coordinate with casino security staff and management when issues arise
• Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal policies, and procedures
• Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers,guestsand vendors.
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations includingabilitytolift upto50lbs., and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack.
