Job summary

Brown & Riding is seeking an Assistant Compliance professional in Dallas to support the Compliance Manager with surplus lines filings and adherence to state requirements. You will help prepare filings, reconcile payables to regulators, and monitor SLA tags while producing timely, accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, follow-up, oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work and solve problems independently.
• Exhibit good listening skills and a willingness to help and support others.
• Intermediate skill level in PC software (Word, Excel and other software, as required).
• Utilizes reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Meets quality standards in preparing and submitting surplus lines filings in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepares and submits filings using manual paperwork or filing websites.
• Uses periodic reports to ensure timely filing.
• Reconciles amounts payable to the regulatory agencies.
• Monitor and track tags received from the state SLA departments and provide reports to the Compliance Manager.
• Other duties as assigned
