Job summary

Brown & Riding is seeking an analyst to assist the Compliance Manager with surplus lines filings, ensuring timely submission and accuracy per state requirements. You will reconcile payables to regulatory agencies and track state SLA tags, providing reports to the Compliance Manager.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, follow-up, oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work and solve problems independently.
• Excellent listening skills and willingness to help others.
• Intermediate skill level in PC software (Word, Excel and other software).
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
• Post high school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets quality standards in preparing and submitting surplus lines filings in a timely and accurate manner according to state requirements.
• Prepares and submits filings using manual paperwork or filing websites.
• Uses periodic reports to ensure timely filing.
• Reconciles amounts payable to the regulatory agencies.
• Monitor and track tags received from the state SLA departments and provide reports.
