Job summary

BD is a leading medical technology company seeking a field-based sales professional to drive Surgiphor adoption across strategic accounts in the United States. You will train 1099 reps, expand into new accounts, and manage SFDC forecasting while maintaining strong relationships with hospitals and KOLs.

You will travel up to 75% (overnights) and partner with MSLs and National Accounts to meet growth targets, while ensuring product demonstrations and clinical education are delivered effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in medical device/medtech.
• Preferably 3+ years of documented sales experience with Surgical Wound Irrigation products.
• Ability to work in an Operating Room, stand for long hours.
• 1099 and/or IDN contracting experience preferred.
• Historically met or exceeded sales targets.
• Familiarity with wound irrigation markets.

Responsibilities

• Training 1099 Reps.
• Expand in accounts beyond Orthopedic or 1099 driven.
• Maintain existing non-1099 covered accounts.
• SFDC pipeline and forecasting management.
• Develop knowledge of the Surgiphor portfolio.
• Drive surgeon education with 1099 and MSL support.
• Own enterprise/top-down responsibilities for Surgiphor.
• Achieve sales goals and grow Surgiphor in designated area.
• Build product specialist relationships with hospitals and staff.
• Discuss products in relation to human anatomy.
• Travel up to 75% including overnight stays.
• Cultivate relationships with Surgiphor KOLs and BD Medical Affairs.
• Support National/Regional Symposiums with sales and market research.
• Collaborate with distribution partners when needed.
• Conduct demonstrations, in-servicing and training.
