Job summary

BD is seeking a field-based sales professional to drive adoption and market expansion of the Surgiphor portfolio across assigned accounts and geographies. You will partner with National Accounts, Direct/Indirect Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to accelerate growth and establish BD as the preferred surgical wound irrigation solutions partner.

The SMM/territory leader will provide in-depth clinical and commercial expertise, influencing surgeons and supply chain leaders to ensure successful

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
Minimum 5 years sales experience in medical devices/medtech.
Experience with Surgical Wound Irrigation products preferred.
Ability to work in Operating Room and tolerate long hours.
1099 contracting experience preferred.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

Train 1099 reps and expand accounts beyond Orthopedic.
Maintain SFDC pipeline and forecast funnel.
Develop thorough knowledge of the BD Surgiphor portfolio.
Drive surgeon education and engage with MSLs.
Meet and exceed annual sales goals within territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and distribution partners.
