This role focuses on driving adoption and market expansion for the Surgiphor portfolio across strategic accounts and geographies, partnering with National Accounts, Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to accelerate growth and position BD as the preferred partner for wound irrigation solutions.

The SMM provides clinical and commercial expertise, influences surgeons and supply chain leaders, and coordinates with 1099

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in medical device/medtech.
• 3+ years selling Surgical Wound Irrigation products.
• Ability to work in an Operating Room and tolerate long hours.
• 1099/IDN contracting experience preferred.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Train 1099 Reps
• Expand in accounts beyond Orthopedic or 1099 driven
• Maintain existing non-1099 covered accounts
• SFDC Pipeline and forecasting Management
• Develop knowledge of BD Surgiphor portfolio
• Drive Surgeon education with 1099 and MSL
• Attain sales goals and grow Surgiphor in area
• Product demonstrations and training for clinical staff
