Job summary

OMS of Utah is seeking a skilled Treatment Coordinator to join our specialty surgical team. This role supports patient care and practice operations by managing scheduling, coordinating patient flow, and presenting financial treatment plans.

You will bridge patients, clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure a smooth, informed patient experience while supporting office efficiency and production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in a dental office or healthcare admin preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient scheduling to support provider productivity and practice efficiency.
• Prepare, present, and review financial treatment plans with patients.
• Follow up with patients regarding proposed treatment plans and scheduling next steps.
• Verify insurance benefits, coverage, and fee schedules for accurate estimates.
• Communicate treatment fees and confirm patient payment commitments.
• Assist patients with insurance forms and ensure documentation.
• Serve as primary contact for patient questions about treatment and scheduling.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records in practice management software.
• Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and office staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
