Qualifications

• Education includes Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology or Certificate of Completion in Surgical Technology.
• Licenses/ Certifications: BLS within 30 days (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Applies asepsis to maintain a sterile environment.
• Assists in organization and coordination of supplies and equipment.
• Maintains a safe environment and adheres to safety policies.
• Charges for equipment and supplies.
• Participates in room turnover and setup.
• Performs sterilization of surgical instrumentation and documents per policy.
• Scrubbing duties and teaching students.
• Prepares OR rooms for next patient.
