Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts in Cherry Valley, MA is seeking a Surgical Technologist for an ongoing position in the Operating Room.

The role supports the RN circulator, scrubs on cases, and ensures instruments and supplies are ready. Requires NBSTSA certification and BLS; background check and health screening completed.

The position offers 40 hours per week, days shift, staff employment, and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology
• One year experience as a certified surgical technologist preferred
• Certification by NBSTSA; BLS required
• Background check and pre-employment health screening including drug screen

Responsibilities

• Scrubs on surgical cases and assists the surgeon under the supervision of the Registered Nurse circulator
• Selects and prepares the appropriate supplies and equipment for surgical cases
• Sets up and maintains sterile technique and assists in instrument counts and room readiness
• Contributes to patient safety and efficient operating room workflow
