Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technician program as required by state regulation of practice or policy.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and set up equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for assigned cases.
• Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during procedures.
• Pull and breakdown cases at end of procedures.
• Set up operating room and supplies for the day or following day.
• Be available for scheduled on-call as required by unit needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
