Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of surgical technology or AST-approved program.

Responsibilities

• scrub and assist as part of the surgical team, maintaining aseptic technique in the OR.
• assist in circulating duties when needed to support the surgical team.
• prepare and handle instruments and supplies for specific procedures.
• anticipate the surgeon's needs to facilitate efficient operations.
• participate in room turnover and central sterile processes as required.
• contribute to training and orientation of new staff.
