Qualifications

• Graduate of surgical technician program per state regulations.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year experience as a surgical technician (preferred).
• Surgical Technology Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
• Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during procedures.
• Pull cases and break down cases after procedures.
• Set up operating room and supplies for the schedule.
• Available for on-call as required by unit need.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
