Newton-Wellesley Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is hosting a Virtual Hiring Event for Certified Surgical Technologists. Join our world-class surgical teams to support safe patient care and perioperative operations at our Newton location.

Attend Sept 17, 2026, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Bring resume and certifications. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus and competitive benefits; onsite location at 2014 Washington Street; pay range $33.25-$40.53 hourly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST certification preferred; other sterile processing certifications may be considered.
• Experience in sterile processing or healthcare/surgical environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for upcoming procedures.
• Set up sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and proper instrument handling.
• Perform counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and team.
• Assist with prepping the surgical site, including draping and sterile solutions.
