Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (PRN) to support operating room teams in a high-volume surgical environment.

The role involves preparing equipment, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting surgeons throughout procedures. Ideal candidates have graduated from an accredited surgical technologist program, CST certification (or grandfathered eligibility), and BLS certification, with 1–2 years OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical technologist program.
• CST certification, or grandfathered per state regulations.
• Prefer 1-2 years OR experience; may accept 0-2 years in related field.
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain medical equipment and instrumentation for procedures.
• Set up sterile field with instruments, drapes, and solutions prior to operations.
• Follow facility regulations and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Assist with patient prep, positioning, and passes instruments to surgeons.
• Assist with specimen preparation and post-procedure patient transfer.
