Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist PRN to support operating room teams under the supervision of surgeons and nurses. The role involves preparing and maintaining instruments, assisting with patient prep, and ensuring sterile environments throughout procedures.

Candidates should be graduates of accredited CST programs, CPR certified, with preferred CST experience and sterile processing exposure to excel in this position.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Must be certified to perform CPR
• 2+ years of clinical experience as CST preferred
• Sterile Processing experience

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions before operations.
• Tend to patient during pre-operation procedures and assist the surgical team.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants.
• Help transfer patients and assist with gowning, gloving, and positioning.

Education

Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program

Certified to perform CPR

2+ years of clinical CST experience preferred

Sterile Processing experience
