Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion from a nationally accredited surgical technology program and CST credential is required.
• Prior OR Technician experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Operating Room for each surgical procedure and maintains equipment.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of instruments in Central Sterile Processing and ensure equipment functions properly.
• Maintain sterile instrument tables and follow aseptic technique for all procedures.
• Perform scrub role, gown and glove scrubbed team members, and count sponges, instruments, and sharps per policy.
