Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Main Operating Room. The role is full-time with a 40-hour work week and an on-call rotation, located in Skokie, IL. Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm, with on-call rotation required.

You will identify instruments, participate in the scrub role, and support safe patient care across age groups from pediatric to geriatric. A surgical technology program graduate with CPR certification is required, with preferred certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous experience in surgery or on-the-job experience.
• Certification in surgical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and obtains the required surgical instrumentation, equipment and supplies for procedures as per physician requests.
• Performs scrub responsibilities according to physician’s preference and hospital policies, anticipates surgeon’s needs during procedures.
• Demonstrates the skills to provide a safe environment and communicate with patients from pediatric to geriatric.
