Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL, is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Main Operating Room to support procedures with sterile technique and instrument readiness. This role requires attention to surgeon needs and adherence to hospital policies, with on-call rotation.

The candidate should be a graduate of an approved surgical technology program, have CPR certification, and show prior surgical experience. This position is in a full-time/as-needed schedule in a busy OR setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous experience in surgery or on-the-job experience.
• Certification in surgical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and obtains the required surgical instrumentation, equipment and supplies for procedures; exchanges drug trays as needed.
• Performs scrub responsibilities according to physician's preference and hospital policies.
• Demonstrates the skills to provide a safe environment and communicate with all age groups of patients.
