Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Main Operating Room. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with an on-call rotation and a daytime schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

The candidate will prepare instrumentation and supplies, support the surgical team during procedures, and ensure patient safety across all age groups. CPR certification and program completion are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous experience in surgery or on-the-job experience.
• Certification in surgical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and obtains the required surgical instrumentation, equipment and supplies for procedures; exchanges drug trays under supervision.
• Performs scrub responsibilities and anticipates surgeon's needs for instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a safe environment and communicate effectively with patients across all ages.
