Zusammenfassung

Endeavor Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Main Operating Room in Skokie, IL. The role offers full-time hours with an on-call rotation and a daytime schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

You will assist with instruments, supplies, and patient care under licensed supervision, in a Magnet-hospital environment. Requirements include graduation from an approved surgical technology program and current CPR certification; prior surgical experience and certification are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous experience in surgery or on-the-job experience.
• Certification in surgical technology preferred.

Aufgaben

• Identify and obtain required instrumentation, equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Inspect, care for and handle surgical instrumentation and equipment.
• Perform scrub responsibilities per physician's preference and hospital policies.
• Anticipate surgeon's needs for instruments, ligatures, sponges, irrigation during procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and communicate with patients across all ages.
